Press / Reviews

“While the band name and artwork deceivingly give off a vibe of silliness, this EP actually has a pretty straightforward ’90s California skate punk sound. It’s fast, tight, and driving punk rock in the wheelhouse of early the OFFSPRING or bands like JUGHEAD’S REVENGE, spiked with some extra heaviness and breakdowns and with humorous themes and lyrics mixed in generously throughout these fourteen tracks” - Jason Harding

— Maximum Rock N Roll

“Blue Elephant and the Seven Snakes' love of music, life, and the creative process shows in the excitement in their songs. Not only are these guys great humans, but their music expresses who they are, solid, tight, and grounded” - Joe Daut (Vocalist of the Dehumanizers)

— Sonic Rendezvous

“As soon as I put this on the turntable, I was slapped in the face with crunchy and powerful ’80s skate punk that had my toes tapping. I wanted to grab my old deck and go skating, but at my age, I don’t think that’d be wise. This is a powerful and intense EP that I couldn’t stop listening to. Great playing, catchy songs, and tight riffs made this a great listen. I might just wear it out playing it on repeat” - Rick Ecker

— Razorcake

“Blue Elephant And The Seven Snakes… what a name, right? With titles like “Gas Station Boner Pills” and “Your Mom Is Hot” you kind of get the overall vibe before hitting play on any of their four songs here. Blue Elephant are in the same ballpark as their brethren on the other side of this release but with a dash more of aggressiveness possibly due to those boner pills” - CW
